I’m not looking forward to this when my new kitten comes in, but I just stomp around my cat when I want her to not do something, that or yell. But she scares from me quick. Everyone’s advice is good with the water bottle and even the broom.

Answer #2

They are fighting because your older cat is asserting its dominance. It needs to be the superior cat. You could try squirting them with water hen they fight, soon enough they will both understand that when they fight they get squirted.

Answer #3

I remember when our cats used to fight ( fur would be every where)

get a spray bottle full of water and just squirt them everything they get into a brawl.

Or try to chase after them with a broom while cursing ( that what my grandma did :D)

they will learn to get along

Answer #4

Separate them…or use the bottle…

If you’re not seeing any real bites (blood), then she may just be frightened…an older/bigger cat could certainly do harm if it chose to.
