How to be calm?

I am very talkive if I find a person I will be talking continuosly.but I want to be calm.how should I change myself to be calm.

Changing yourself shouldn’t be the goal.

If you want to change the manor in which you communicate, just pay attention to how you say things. Reflect on the things that bother you about the way you talk to people and just try to avoid doing that. I think the main thing is to focus on making quick points. When you are talking, don’t give crazy amounts of details. And when you feel like you are talking too much, just ask the person you are talking to a question.

I used to be really bad about this. I kinda just grew out of it but I did have to do work on it some.

its very normal sweetheart let me help you … I used to be talkative and say stupid things lol Think things out before you talk Dont be calm everytime because that shows people that you are not confident and you are shy and you never have your say. Talk … but dont talk in a loud voice be calm and smile when you are talking. as I told you THINK THINGS OUT BEFORE YOU TALK for example you are about to say some thing first say it to yourself and find out if its something unneccessary or some thing need to be said (you dont have to lock your mouth and never say what you need just because you want to be appear calm) just talk when you needed to talk…and becareful about what you are going to say. take care (F)

Okaaay, I know how to be calm in a stressful sitch :)

Okaay so all you need to do is to steady your breathing, Count how long it takes for you to inhale and for however long that takes thats how long you need to exale for

eg it takes me four senconds to inhale deeply therefore when I exale I need to time it so I have four seconds of exhaling :):)

I dont believe you can actually change that you just have to think before you talk :):)
