How to ask my mom can I go to my first disco?

To be honest, I really don’t see why teens these days have such a difficult time asking for things…you’re making it much harder than it has to be.

The Advisor didn’t really help… she just expressed her absurd opinion.. Anyway just Talk as I said before I my previous answers talking is essential a significant part in a society and our community is biased on that.. So try talking if it dosen’t work try another approach try making a deal with her. Like for instance say “ Mom, if I go to the disco I promise to be on the honor roll” or “I promise to do the dishes for the next month” if you really want to go to the “disco” try doing these things..

see if you can get a ride with a friend, that will make it easier to ask. be like ‘hey mom can I go to the disco next week with …?’ and she will be like ‘oh, what disco?’ and you can say ‘oh theres a disco next week and all my friends are going, could I go with …?’ and see what happens…
