How to ask my Mom about meeting with the school counselor?

How can I tell my mom I would like to talk to the school counselor about my teacher? I have this super mean teacher who picks on me, and I know some may say it just seems that way, but if you ask anyone in my class, they will say she goes out of her way to be rude to me and embarras me in front of the whole class! I talked to my mom about it, and she said that telling the principle or anyone else won’t help. She said the only way she will listen is if I talk to her. I think she is right, yet I don’t have the confidence to do this! I don’t know how I could pluck up the courage to talk to her, and I would like to talk to a school counselor about this (another one of my mom’s suggestions!) How can I tell her, as it is awkward because I hated the idea at first and made that clear!

Answer #1

what ever you do get yourself assigned to another class teacher student conflics always comprimse your learning and the teacher will always win do yourself a favor get out of that class what ever it takes it wont get better trust me

Answer #2

Do you really have to ask your mom to see the school counselor. When I was in school we just went to the counselor privately

Answer #3

you can talk to the councellor without telling your mom. Predjudiced teachers should be reported to someone in the school. You can swallow your pride and tell your mom you did it after.

Answer #4

you could just tell her that you thought it over and figured that it wasn’t such a bad idea and you might as well give it a try. or you could just go to the office and tell the secratary that you would like to talk to the councoler as soon as posible. you could get a chance to tell him/her what is going on and then they may or may not call your mom and ask her about the situation. trust me my dad is a pricipal he told me that you should do this. good luck!
