How should I deal with my boyfriend?

Ok so im going out with a guy, but he always thinks im trying to boss him around. Which im not. I really like him and hes my first real boyfriend, but I don’t know how to make him understand that im not a control freak. Also he has a best friend, shes a girl and I know it shouldnt bug me because they have been best friends since fifth gradde but it still does. I just really want him to lnw im here for him and that I want him to be able to talk to me like he does to his best friend. I really need help please. And thanks a alott…

I would ask him for examples of how he thinks you are controlling him and then talk about them. Let him see your point of view and you see his.

He may also say that as a way out from your relationship. Just food for thought.
