How much is too much to drink?

I am about 5’2 and 104 lbs, when I drink with my friends I just dont want it to get out of control, how many beers or shots is a good amount to get me a little tipsy/drunk. but not to the point where it is dangerous?

First of all let me explain that when a person is tipsy or drunk they have alcohol poisoning. Second how much water would you drink at the same time? One bottle? Two? Beer and spirits are no different, one or two should suffice. Take your time with them and “Nurse” your drinks as the saying goes.

Here is a little trick my friend uses to make it look as if he is drinking more and keeping up with the guys, he holds his bottle in such a way that his hand is always covering the liquid level in the bottle, after a while he will state, well looks like I am getting low better get another, he disappears into the crowd and then returns with the same bottle having never been to the bar for another, and continues to socialize and such. Why? He wants to appear like one of the guys but not get hammered, or waste more money than he has. Once you drink too much you forget how much you have had and can easily get out of control.

If you want an exact number 1-3. no more.

Have fun and don’t drink and drive.

You’re past drunk when you’ve got alcohol poisoning. And no one is tipsy when they have alcohol poisoning. I’m not sure where you’re getting your information from?

Answer #3

‘when a person is tipsy or drunk they have alcohol poisoning’

uhm no… Alcohol poisoning is when a person has very high levels of alcohol, (usually at a BAL of 0.3, which at your weight is approx 8 drinks). When a person is tipsy or drunk, they’re just tipsy or drunk.

Stick to one drink per hour and you should be fine.
