How much does it cost to get a computer fixed?

I’ve been having problems with my, im guessing, video card/motherboard. I dont know how to fix it myslef so I need to have a professional look at it unfortunatley… So I’m just wondering does anyone know about how much it would cost?? or like standard rates for looking at it or something so I can get an idea for how much money I need? Thanks

It really depends - Just to look at it costs about $40 - $60 here and then to fix whatever errors ontop of that costs a certain amount of money, it completely depends what’s wrong with it.

yeah, its about $75 at one place here. I was just wondering if perhaps there might be alternatives if that place just seems very expensive.

Here in Illinois it is about $75 an hour then there are parts.
