How many children is 2 many to have now a days ? I see people having more and more children everyday. Baby's are not cheap and with our economy as bad as it is how are people planning to send all their kids to college, Or are they going to choose only one ,I mean lets be realistic not to many people will ever make enough to send more than 2 to college.So I was just wandering what you think.

I have 3 and I worry about what the future will bring...I started a college saving program for them when they were all newborns. Most likely when they are old enough for college they will have to pay some of the cost too (although I do hope their college plan will be enough).
I think that everybody is different...my brother has 2 kids and thinks that's too many...my oldest brother has 3 with another on the way. They say they're going to stop now but my sister in law has said she wanted at least 6. I would love to have one more (but I think I just miss having a baby around). It depends on the person. Some can handle it while others can't.
I want five children, when we are financailly stable of course. My parents had five kids, and 3 of us are in college now, and honestly they didn't help us at all, which is fine. There is financial aide out there and loans. We have had no problems. My middle brother is going to school for free through PSEO and my 16 year old brother has been offered scholarships from many different schools already for football and track. So, there are always ways around it. Of course, you shouldn't have lots of kids if you are planning on relying on state aid for living.
I want 3 or 4. I also beleive it depends on how much you can take care of them, like income and savings. Every child has the right to a good life and parents should think of that before having one. If I had 17 kids like that one family I would lose track probly forget whose who. lol
I think it has to do with what you grew up with. I had 4 older brothers and I want 5 kids just like my mom and dad did. My boyfriend grew up with one sibling and only wants 2 kids. I personally think 5 or 6 is pretty up there. But everybody's different, that's just my opinion!
I have 4 & I want more, kids are a blessing from Heaven above, & the more you have, the more you love, without my kids my life would be empty, I love them to death, I say 6 kids is plenty!!
Pfft I think one kid is a lot !! Lmao I mean I like kids but there not on mi to do list right now seeing as tho I'm only 15! But I think maybe just 2 is enough after that I think its to much lol
It completely depends on the family - some families can easily support 6 plus kids, other families cant even support 2. There are so many factors involved (income, lifestyle, marriage, etc.).
How many is too many depends upon the families ability to provide for all contingencies and be able to see their children reach the goals they have for them.
have you everheard of the Duggar family?on that show? they have 17 kids... thats an example of a lot / way 2 many kids. to me, 3 is enough
I'm only 15 and don't want kids till im well older but I say 4+ is too many for me. I wouldn't even really want 3
It depends on how much care you can give them, if you have them money, space, time, etc.
