How many calories must I eat to lose weight, with my exercise?
Can someone help me figure out how much calories I need to eat to lose weight, given these details? I’m female, 16 years old, 5 foot 2, and 114 lbs. I walk 20 minutes in the morning, then I do a 30 minute cardio or strength workout(I alternate). I then walk another 20 minutes later in the day. The rest of the day I am generally not very active. I want to be 108-110 lbs, but the scale keeps telling me I’m 114, no matter what. I usually eat 1500 calories. Help?!
Hey =) Well im on a constant diet ad Know a lot of info on dieting and Eatin habbits AND exercise soo.. Well what you said you do already is brilliant =) sounds like even though you are not very active when your not doing the exercise you soon make up for it =) Try eating 1200 or even 100 but not for a long period of time maybe for a week be very strict with your self STAY AWAY from fizzy drinks as they make you bloat and have a high amount of calories even diet still make you bloated. Try To Eat the most in the morning as this is when your body will find it most easy to work of ht you have eaten through the day. Green Tea is brilliant as its full of anti oxidants and the help boost metabolism you ca get these in loads of different flavors from your local super market. Try not to snack between meals and if you feel like you have to try sugar free gum or fruit bananas are high in energy Mind you this shouldnt be used as a long time fix just a week detox style it should help you loose your last few unwanted pounds. exercise - Power walking is brilliant for legs and bum along with squats dancing aswell helps tone all over the body and often makes you feel better =) I hope what I said helps I have loads of info and help so if you get really stuck give me an email

Well musils ( spelt rong) are heavier than fat so you could be strong rather than need to loos weight and I think you need to eat about 1900 kcals but not sure
a normal amount of calories you should consume is 2000 - 2500 per day, so your eating a lower amount of calories. So stick with 1500 - 2000 caloriess a day, but makesure those calories arent coming from junky foods, eat your fruits and vegetables, (grains, milks protein, etc –look at the food pyrmid). Be sure to excersice, do what yopu are slready doing, and dont eat late at night befoe you go to bed.
