How long until my tongue is healed?

its day 7 and I want to change my bar. its to long and jabs the crap outta my mouth. im willing to wait for the right time but id like to know exactly when that is. I’ve heard anywhere from 3 days until 6 months. I sure as hell aint wait in 6 months. any HONEST answers will be great! THANKS SO MUCH =P<~~

you will know when it is healed .. there will be no redness or swelling of the tongue and there will also be no whiteness to it .. your best bet would be to go to the peircer and ask them .. the feeling you have is normal .. it feels asthough it is stabbing the bottom of your mouth .. but I wouldnt change it for a min of 2 weeks (from the peirce date) as the tongue can take a long time to heal .. if you take it out to soon you have a high chance of loosing the hole .. give it another week and you will notice that it stops bothering you as much then you should be safe to change it
