How to turn an iPod off?

I cant seem to turn my ipod off. I’ve tried pressing the pause button down for a long while but it still seems to be losing charge and thats sooo anoying? Plzzz help? X.

Uhmmm if you lock it they turn off automatically after awhile.

If you want to actually turn it off you just hold the play/pause buttom until the screen turns off…

The above works on the Nano, Video, Classic, etc…

(I don’t know how to turn the iTouch off though)…

If holding play/pause isn’t working then something is wrong with your iPod. Bring it into an apple store and have them check it out. Or go to customer service online.

If it’s an iPod touch, then hold down the button on top and circle button. I used to have an iPod nano and I’m pretty sure I held down the circle button in the middle or the pause button and the middle circle one. I think that resets it! You should reset it from your iTunes options if your having trouble with it though! Also iPod turn off after a while anyway if you don’t touch them after you lock them or put them to sleep mode!

Lock it from the top on the left (it has to be red) after you press the pause button for a while and it’s off.
