how do you fix an iPod?

I dropped my iPod in a bathtub and now it’s all wet. I dried it off, then left it out in the sunlight to get the stuff that may or may not have gotten inside my iPod to dry. But now the screen won’t turn on. What do I do to fix my iPod?
