How far along will it be before my dog starts showing?

Well I’m asking anonymously as I know there will be the posters that are all “get your dog fixed” ect, ect. Anyway. my mother let my dogs out and took off my standard poodle’s diaper (she was in heat) then went inside to throw it away. Obviously my male Spoo decided now would be the time and they tied. That was on September 30th so I was wondering if she should be showing by now if she was carring pups? I was told one of the signs was that teets that were innies will become outies and she’s had two that have popped out. Her other nipples don’t seem to be getting -huge- but they are slightly bigger than what they were.

I am not getting my dogs fixed so please don’t come back with that.

So everyone should get their dogs fixed? You people are so stupid. Neither of my dogs are fixed because it is the beauty of nature. I will make sure that if my dogs get pregnant they get all the love and care that they deserve. But it is people like you that make the adoption rate so low! If people didnt have to fix them they wouldnt have to spend so much to get the dog and have more to spend on the dog which is what matters. I love animal and constantly pick up strays every time I see them and rehabilitate them until they can find a loving home which at a free price because I know a vet and not having to fix them is surprisingly easy. All 3 of my dogs one of which was pregnant when rescued were all strays and so are both my cats NONE ARE FIXED they lead a natural life so keep your advice to yourself. I was here with the same question and because of poeple like you I cant get one.

YES they should, with the exception of breeders. If you love animals then you’ll get them fixed. There are enough animals being born and left homeless every day. We do not need more of that.

But it is people like you that make the adoption rate so low! I, unlike you actually realize that the adoption rate is so low because people just let their dogs breed and therefore causes SPCA’s and other institutions to be overworked and having to put out dogs.

Just because you feel that your dogs should breed doesn’t make it right. You’re just making the problem of overpopulation amongst animals worse.

If people didnt have to fix them they wouldnt have to spend so much to get the dog and have more to spend on the dog which is what matters.

What are you on about? You can get your dogs fixed for free at the SPCA and other shelters, so that is a stupid reason and a poor excuse.

And I will not keep my advice to myself. There are just too many animals that cannot find homes out there. No reason for people not to fix their animals.

Answer #6

Well YOU ARE BREEDING THE DOGS, so YOU TELL us. It’s stupid with all the animals without homes to bring in more dogs into the world.

Answer #7

It’s people like you that makes me NOT want to adopt ifeelcrazy. This lady came here for advice and clearly she wasn’t trying to breed them as you say as she mention the female had a diaper on before her mother was handling them. Not everyone who doesn’t get their dogs fixed are trying to breed and add to the population. So stop freakin preachin your beliefs on to someone else.

As for the question, other than swollen nipples you may see a slight bump. But I would definately take her to a vet to know for sure.
