He writes avout feeling and when you read his poems you feel like someone is there listening and understands that you need comfort it is like the world is open to you and his words send you the comfort to stay strong all that is my feelings you need to get more into the research and find how it influences you and others and then figure out how he makes the world a better place

You can say something generic like: He improved the world by setting the bar for poets everywhere.

Way old, . He married his 13 yr old cousin at 40. He was a raven lunatic, drug addict and alcoholic. His contribution to fiction was the detective story, while being American he stuck to European influence which was unheard of in the day, since American writer’s staved to be different than European counterparts. When someone finds out how Poe made the world a better place please let me know. I wrote my thesis on him for my B.A. and I couldn’t have answered that one.
