How does hypocapnia affect bronchial smooth muscles?

Answer #1

CO2 in the blood stream caused by hypervenalation such as beathing to hard into point of too much CO2 in the blood stream will make your throat feel like your choking. Making it tight. Only thing I can compare this to is asthma attack where normal asthmatic patients have problems breathing do to a number of diffrent causes.

I have asthma and after seeing my local asthma clinic I found out I measure a lot of CO2 in my body constantly primarily due to COPD and before you ask ( no I don’t smoke) my Bronchial passage is actually altering do to the frequency and severeness of my asthma. Its really not the hypocapnia that is causes the bronchial alteration though but the inflimation that most asthmatic, Copd, and Emphasime, and folks who have smoked them self into a respitory disease. To find out more I suggested looking up Emphasime, probably spelled wrong, because that and Copd are the worst case scenerios. I hope that answers your question.
