I have two cats, and one of them likes the other, but the one we've had longer will scratch the other. They have been doing this for a year and they do this mostly at night, but they are nice to each other during the day. At night, they run around and make loud noises with their paws. I f that's not annoying enough, they will jump on me while I will be watching TV. Please answer.
But you can train them not to do the other stuff.
I use time outs, I lock mine in the bathroom if she does something she's not supposed to. She's quit jumping on counters, knocking things over, running outside without permission, she comes when called... I would first try positive reinforcement for good behavior (treats, toys), like if they sit or whatever, but that never really worked for my cat... The night time stuff, I just lock mine out of the room if she's noisy. She HATES that. She'll whine and scratch the door, but I ignore her. She's learned not to be a pain at night.
That's like asking how to train human beings to like eachother. You can, either someone or some animal likes someone else or another animal, or they don't. You can train someome or an animal to like someone else or another animal.
ok thanx.
