Well…sometimes they’ll learn fast, but there are kittens who’ll make ya wonder…keep the box close to them, so they don’t have to look for it…as they get older you can start moving the box into the direction you want to keep it permanently.

The answer that “editor” gave was good. But it’s also true, if they are old enough, they will know what to do in the litter box. Make sure the box is in a clean, easy-to-get-to spot for them. And you have to use something lower than a regular litter box. Small kittens can’t get in and out of a regular litter box. Make sure the litter box is cleaned regularly.

Answer #3

Cats will naturally poop in litter pans…they are very clean animals they like 2 bury their poop and piii..just the pan 4 them they’ll know what to do

Answer #4

It really depends on how old the kitten is. If it’s under 6 weeks it should still be with it’s mother. The mother is what teaches the kittens how to use the litter…

Answer #5

Hahaha. You dont need to train them. Its not like teaching a dog. They know naturally how to use a litterbox. Even wild ones do but they might prefer you taking them outside to go potty. But still, no training needed. If you feel the need to “introduce” the litter box you can but I have had kittens(I have some now ^-^) they dont need training.

Answer #6

try putting their poop in the littler box, that should give them a sign that thats where they should go. You can also maybe time when they have to go the bath room watch them and when they show signs take them there. you should really get a book on training cats to littler train for more help.

Answer #7

Put them in the litter box…you really only need to show them the litter box and they catch on very quickly..

Answer #8

welll, just when they start scratching at the ground, put them in the litter pan. haha theyll know what to do.
