How do you get good marks in a speech and make it interesting?
Help! I have to write a speech for school, the subject is all about me. I dont know how to make it interesting and exciting! I really dont want to bore everyone and get a bad mark. Im quite shy! Please help me im in desperate need!!! Help! Thankyou X
Just write about yourself. I don’t think it necessarily has to be exciting…just truthful. Have you ever traveled to a different country? Do you have any special talents? Unique pets? A funny childhood memory?
Whatever you do your speech on, when you give it make sure to read slower than you think you should. People tend to talk faster than they realize. Also, pausing to make eye contact is essential. Teachers love that. lol Good luck! :)
