How do you feel about books that have the same old plots?

I’m just growing tired of the same old outcast gets with “in crowd” and “cute boy” catches the eye of “outcast/former outcast.”

According to Georges Polti, there’s only 36 dramatic situations that can take place in any plot, so the fact that the same ones get recycled is inevitable.

Oh I know right? it’s always like the popular boy and girl break up, outcast new girl comes to the school. Popular girl hates outcast girl, but popular boy and outcast girl fall in love and blah blah blah. It’s like that with movies too! The two characters dispise eachother, fall in love, have a big fight, apologize and live happy ever after
