I just told my mom about me liking a guy thats 3 years older then me tonight. but shes met him before cause hes my best friends brothers friend… and I just came out and told her my whole story. and she didnt seem to care. I think your mom will be happy that your being honest but depending on your situation, it could be different.

if you are close enought to your mom that you want to tell her about your dating life, just tell her the truth. if she has legitamate concerns, you should listen to her. she just wants what is best for you, and you obviously trust her.
it was not possible for me to believe this at 15, but she’s been through it, she knows a lot more than you might give her credit for. I didn’t tell my mom about my love life until I was dating the man I eventually married. I had been out with him maybe three times and I knew he was the one. he is tenyears older than me. I told her straight out. she just said if I knew.. that was great and she wanted to meet him.
