how do I put my self in to care ?

I have just got out of hospital again from taking a overdose and my mums beeing so horrible towards me what can I do to get myself far away as pos from my mum as she is driving me to take all these overdoses and self harming please help as next time il make sure il kill my self I just want get back in hospital

Hi, There is really no point in saying don’t do this as you have found that it is the only way of coping with the hurt you are getting.

However, there are other ways to deal with these situations that are less destructive. You may want to be totally honest with your doctor or speak to a social worker or counseller about the problems with your mother.

What about your school nurse or an adult that you trust? You really need to talk and get this out in the open.

I think most importantly if your mother cannot love you through this “disease” that is so unfortunate. Don’t let her feed into your addiction. You need to immediately research some places or phone numbers online and call ASAP. You are worth the help and this seems like the only way for you. You need to be around positive people who are educated in this area, bot people who will place blame on you. Whether your mother is hurt or not, you are her child and she should deal with you with nothing but love. Best of Luck to you! Kristy

aww iim soo sorrii bout all that. I dno what to do bout your mum but a whiile ago I got out of hospital from takiin an overdose and fings av got worse because ov mii mum. I dno what to do eiva.
