Cartilage After Care

ok so my cartilage is sore, swollen, and red but I just got it pierced like 6 days with a gun{ which I just found out was a bad idea after I got it done} but my question is it ok to take like Excedrin and put ice on it to take away the pain and reduce the swollen ear??? What would you do???

Just leave it alone, it will hurt for a couple days, especially if you sleep on that side. But the best thing to do I clean it, then leave it alone!

I’ve had mine pierced 3 times. I have both cartlidges pierced, and had to get one re-pierced because it got stuck lol.

Dont put alcohol on it. That will irritate it even more. And yeah, you shouldn’t have got it done with a gun. They all use needles now.
