How do I put a blue streak in my hair?

So I’m a struggling college student. I cant afford to go to a salon to put in a blue streak. I’m just wondering what is the best way to do this. I know I should bleach my hair but I’m wondering if there is any way I can do it and skip this step.

well, you didn’t give us much information to work with..

how thick is your hair? what is the texture? your ethnicity? what is the color? is it damaged? have you dyed it?

^^ that girl ana is on meth, if you bleach your hair more than once within 48 hours, it WILL fall off and break like a twig. the best thing you can do is: when you walk into SALLYS BEAUTY SUPPLY to buy the blue hair dye, ask one of the girls that work there what is the BEST product you should use on your hair that will give you your desired look. they’ll tell you what to use and how to do it.

Screw the answer below, the answer is simple. I do hair all the time, will all kinds of colors.

hair bleach, they usually sell these at drug stores. Its called Xtreme something I cant exactly remember right now. Make sure you follow the directions

What you do is for three days you leave the hair bleach in for about an hour. Your hair will turn white eventually or close to it, dont be scared its supposed to happen. After all thats done, you can put in the blue hair dye leave it for another hour and a half and make sure you apply heat so that it gives it the brightest effect possible.
