How do I know my belly button ring is rejecting it's self?
I got my belly button pierced in nov. I have had it for over a montn. it’s still really red but not so much sore. how do I know if it’s rejecting it’s self?
hello, I looked at your pic, that is infected if I wer you I’d take it out, I have my bellybutton pierced 2, luckily mine didn’t go like that, my friends did and it cxame out thru her skin now theres nothing left but a scar, so if I was you I’d take it out asap look after your belybutton and when it heals up get it done again
It takes about 8 months to be fully healed. Do the salt and water based thing. (Sea salt is recommended.) Don’t change the ring. If its infected, leave it in and clean it twice a day, you can nurse it back to health. But if it gets too infected go see a doctor.
do you mean, how do you know if its infected ? Well if its still red then the healing stage hasnt properly occured yet. When its healing it should form a scab type thing. Make a water and salt solution and apply it to the area, either by soaking, dabbing, spraying your belly button .

You’ll know by it still looking red/purple, still leaking puss and/or bleeding. that’s what my belly button did and its infected. its been infected since April, that’s everything that mines doing.
