How do I know when I'm going to start my period?

How do I know I’m going to hit my period? I have this strange feeling im getting real close to it. But I dont want to talk to my mom about it. Its way to awkward! Please help me.

Im 12. My mom got hers when she was in grade 5. That is the only thing she said in that subject

Hey there Miss withoutlovex, I was thinking and you should probably bee getting it soon. I started the great “period” when I was about 13… But just a reminder every gal is different on how and when things will happen, As if you get cramps or if your regular meaning if it comes on the same day every month and all. Thats what makes all of us very special.

Sweetie if I would just talk to your mother. It may seem hard but once you do it its no big deal. You might feel some type of pressure or aching in your tummy as if you need to use the rest room or something. Also you may feel a bit out of energy. Maybe a headache may come around, oh and the big thing you maybe really moody and snappy to your friends or family, Good luck.

well when i got my period my sides started hurting and i had bad pains Down There…so if u feel sharp pains in your sides…most likley its ur period!!!
