What was the average age to start a period in 1969?

I’m 13 and a half and my mom was too in 1969 (so she’s 40 years older than me). I haven’t started my period and I’m totally flat chested, so does anyone know what the average age for a girl to start her period in 1969 was? Its a rubbish question, but if I know that, then I’ll get an idea of when I’ll start..

dont freak I got mine 2 years before the age my mom was when she got hers. some of my 14 yr old friends havnt gotten it yet so dont freak!

it doesnt change over the years , its how your body is . or how it runs in the family . the average age is from 9-16 .
