How do I handle my boyfriend leaving for the marines?
I met my boyfriend when I was 6 years old. We spent every day together for just about our entire lives. Although we both dated other people, we always ended up back together. Now he is leaving for the Marines and I am very worried. He tells me that he will always be in a green zone so he wont be in any danger, but I know there is always danger. I guess im just worried something will happen. I cant tell him im worried because I dont want him to feel bad. What should I do?

I’m trying. He has been away at boot camp for a little over a month and people tell me this is the hardest part. We are planning to get married now and that is so amazing. I’m so happy i just hope it all works and he is ok. I love him so much.
