How do I fix a cut lip?

You know the corner of your mouth? That place where it hurts like hell if your lips get too dry and crack? Well, my wonderful orthodontist cut me there with one of his lovely tools. The thing is, he cut me almost a week ago. The cute started out small. But it keeps getting bigger because every time I open my mouth, the cut cracks open again. So I feel like it’s not going away and it’s starting to get pretty noticable. How do I either make it disapear or look it’s not there?

don’t touch it, and don’t open your mouth wide, like yelling, it will only make it bigger. make sure to go to a different doctor so he or she can help u, not that doctor

First of all, I would complain my head off to my orthodontist and find a new one! Jeesh. What an idiot. lol Your mouth has probably continued to crack and split because it’s dry. I would use lots of Chapstick or even small amounts of Vaseline to soften the cut/crack so it is able to stretch a little when you open your mouth and it can heal instead of ripping back open. Antibiotic ointment like Neosporin would be really good as long as you could keep it from going into your mouth. That would be pretty gross tasting, but probably harmless. Maybe ask your orthodontist since it’s his fault to begin with.

well, go to another docter, or just stop opening your mouth wide, or talk for a reason
