Infected swollen lip from braces?
I just got braces like 2 days ago… And the metal on the braces cut into my cheek really bad! Now the whole right side of my lips and cheek are swollen!:( What can I do to make the swelling go down?

Sucking on some ice will reduce the swelling. I used special strips of wax to cover the parts of my mouth that were especially effected by my braces rubbing my lips/cheeks when I had braces. Ask your orthodontist about it or buy some at most drug stores or online: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp157700_333181_sespider/dentek/wax_for_braces.htm
