I have worked for over 30 years in retail with a perfect record and now because a lady lied now I have a felony. I plead no contest so she could not sue me. Now all I want to do is work and make a living. I do not want to lose my home because of this. But so far no body wants to hire me. What companies do hire people with a felony?
It's tough getting out there and finding employment when you have a felony - people judge too quickly, but there is hope. Several types of places will hire felons, but you have to find the right one - some are more lenient than others.

You can also try going back to school and see if you can get into the medical field (nursing, dental, etc), since they will hire felons after a screening.
