How do I find a good handler for my dog?

I am looking for someone to show my two english springer spaniels in MN or someone that can teach me (preferably). I would like to show them in confirmation and obedience. I am new to this and have done some research, but I don’t know quite enough about it to just go to a show. If anyone has any advice please let me know!

Also…start attending some shows…that’s where the handlers are…I’d imagine there’s quite a networking system going among them…

hi fellow Minnesotian! Contact a humane society and sometimes thay have resource listings on things like that…I had found out about some obedience training classes through one in Alex Mn for my Dalmation I had at the time…maybe they will have some resources for you or point you to someone who may…good luck!

Thanks for the info… can I take the girls with me to get them used to the environment or can you only bring in dogs to show?
