How do I apologize for a horrible April fools joke?

Okay I’m 13 and me and my friend planned an April fools joke on my guy friend Nic (I love him we are soo close) that my friend pretends I got in a horrible car accident then Nic freaked out cause my friend took the joke to far and now Nic won’t talk to me because I thought the joke was funny I’ve tried everything to apologize but nothin wrks I don’t one what to do I feel like the worst person ever right now please help and hurry

well, when you joke about something horrible like that, people hate you for it after all this guy thought you were either horribly hurt or dead and he would have panicked then he finds out it was all just a practical joke and remember that not evereyone een remembers its april fools day think about it, even if it wasnt april fools day and soemone you realy cared about told you they were in a car accident, you would be shocked and hurt then imagine how you would feel when they told you it was all just a practical joke you went through all that pain, wondering if they were ok, if they were alive, ect just to find out it was all a joke I doubt youd like that so he does have every right to be upset all you can do is talk to him and try to say you want to be friends and it was just a joke that youve now learned from and wont do soemthing like that again but if he doesnt like you anymore because of it, you may have lost a friend

Well thanx guys Nic is so very close to me and he won’t talk to me and today we were supposedto go see a movie.. I guess I ruined that one… He said he was freaking out and he thought I was dead I feel like shit now I don’t know how to apologize anyone have any ideas on wht to say when I apologize I’ve tried almost everything but I don’t think it worked

give him some time and let him cool down and then go to him and say your really sorry for doing that and just hope your mates again which you will be obviously xx

I say give him a few days to cool dwn, he has to realize it WAS a joke and tell him if it makes him feel better he can play a joke on you but seriously your friend needs to learn how to take a joke, unless someone close to him got n2 a car reck and that really scared him.
