How can you swim when you have your period?

I know exactly how you feel, I started my period 2 years ago and I haven’t been swimming since because im scared. Take a deep breath, read the tampon instructions and try them. Or there’s waterproof sanitary towels, but I think the tampons would work better

Just swim the same way you have been swimming. Its just like riding a bike! You will not forget how to swim just because you’re on the rag. I promise you won’t drown!

I know its a little scary if you’ve never used tampons before but they’re so easy to use and they don’t hurt and it’s not difficult.. maybe just try one?? it doesn’t have to be a big one, it can be a small one just to start with - don’t be scared :) or just don’t swim for the duration of your period?? that’s what I used to do before I started using tampons :)x

u can swim but maybe with a tampon other wise it will get in the water

to swim with your period youll need to wera a tampon because a pad will just soak up the water and balloon up, it could also unstick and end up floating on the top of the pool/ocean, and it wont do anything to absorb your flow because it will be full of water dont be afraid of tampons, get the smallest ones you can find and practice with them in your bathroom or room or somewere your comfortable and read the instructions

Use a tampon. It is scary at first and if you don’t do it right it can be a little uncomfortable. Sometimes it takes practice. I know they do make some for teenagers. They are skinnier than regular ones. When I first tried to use a regular one it hurt, but I got the teenager ones and they worked fine. Everyone is different though. Why are you scared to use one? What are your fears about it?
