This is NOT what happens. The data, pictures, and messages are still there, but the space it occupies is earmarked by the machine as okay to be overwritten. Anyone with a $50 piece of hardware can access your SIM card and read every message you’ve sent, assuming the phone hasn’t overwritten them with new data.

It’s not as easy as calling ATT and requesting transcripts, sure, but it’s not exactly difficult either.

No, they can look on the online bill, and it will say theres texts sent and recived, but don’t send bad pictures, at&t montiors those, so people under 18 don’t send anything bad. Some people are getting fined for it. So texts don’t matter, but pictures do. The last thing you want is a cop showing up at your door. I aint lying either, my friend had that happen and she is 17, she wa sending pics to another 17 year old and got fined a big amount for doing it, and got arested for 7 days. So I really think thats something you should be careful on.
