How do I delete favorites from my Windows 7 computer (read more)?

When I try to go and delete some favorites it says: “You need permission from the user to perform this action”… how can I get permission when I’m logged in and the only user of this computer?!

id recommend assuming that you are an administrator(you have to be)… first trying doing it through the browser used to create them… if that doesn’t work… right click on it click properties than click the security tab and check if your user account has has “full control” by clicking your user account in the box labeled “group or user name” than check if there is a check mark under “allow” on the first item in the “permissions for…” box if not click “edit” and check it, press ok until all windows are gone and try again… if neither of these work you may wan’t to install “unlocker 1.9” http://funadvice.com/r/15fogl247ar (be sure to right click on the program and run as administrator) try to delete the file if you get an error unlocker should open click “unlock” and try again… (you may get an box from unlocker that says no handler IF SO select delete and the file should be deleted and press ok) i hope this helps and sorry for the long response
