Just tell her that you started your period. It’s not a big deal. I know that you feel scared and confused and you dont want her to laugh at you but she wont at all! She will understand and answer any questions you have.

just tell her she obviously understands since shes a girl too and she might even cry because she will be sooo happy ..its like your thinking she will have a reaction like if you told her you were pregnant…its not even close to that.

heres how i did it: my mom was working that day. she works from 6 pm to 7am so i had the chance to call her and tell her. i was too shy to do it face to face. i went in the laundry room(the empty room at the moment) and after about 20 minutes called her. i thought she would be working so i would leave her a message but she was on break. i heard the phone pick up then hang up. i hung up too and was relieved. about a minute later i came out pretending i was checking on the clothes in the dryer. my dad was walking my way with his phone toward me and sed: ur mom. i took the phone and sed: me:hello? mom:yea y did u call me? me:o its just..wait..(i went outside to the porch)on your way home tomorrow i need u to buy me some…o wat r they called(i pretended i forgot what pads were called so i could save some time) wat r they called? o ya.. pads. mom:ok but doesnt your sister have any more(she had already had her period for about 5 years i guess if she started 12) me:ya but not a lot left mom: ok ill buy you some me:ok i asked my sis for a night pad and some regular pad for school the next day and today when i came home i found a bag with what was abously a box of pads. it felt weird to tell her though. she sounded like she knew i had it, like i had already gotten it and i was just asking her for more pads cuz i ran out. well good luck!
