How can I make my mom love me?

well mommmy and dad have a favorite so I dont get much love and theysay its because im not as emotional pliz help im only 12 and cant express my emotions

I think that it is natural at your age.I am 13 too and I have the same problem but I think that your mom does love you but gas money problems or social ones so is not giving you her full atention

wtf why do parents show there favorite child affection and not the others

I dont know how 2 predict my mum…one minute she’s asking me 4 advice,talking to me…and I’m being as supportive as I can…next minute shes making fun of me and yeling at me for no reason…I help her around the house..I do everything..I even get good grades..I have no idea how I can make my mum appreciate what I do anymore…its frustrating..sometimes I just want to runaway from home..like she’d care..and my dads another story…no1ns on my side…no1

hmm..I can def. sympathize with you. I dont know why my mum does this to me. She comes home from work..sits down..and does her school work online, Shes going to an online college, and orders me to do things instead of her trying to help out once in a while. I dont know why our moms are like this…but the only advice I can give you is to hang in there. :(

I try to give her a hug and she pushes me away, she told me to do good on my tests I got 100% on all 3, and when I tell her I love her all she says is “ok go to sleep” wtf??

she really does love you. always. my mom acts like that sometimes too but its usually because she’s stressed. why they take it out on us I don’t know!?it makes me so mad! :)

Hi, Can I give you a moms view? I’m a mom of 3 boys, the eldest is 11 years old. The most likely cause of your mom’s behaviour is stress and or unhappiness. Being an adult is hard enough, but being a mom is an awesome responsibility and a lot of work. I know it’s hard as you’re still fairly young, but I’m sure that if you try to understand your mom and express your appreciation for all she does for you, her mood may improve. How about a nice drawing or homemade thankyou card. In the past I have been under immense stress and have been very moody with my kids (and husband), but I never stopped loving them for a minute. It’s just other stuff gets in the way. I’m sure your mom loves you a great deal, tell her you love her and give her a hug: if she’s anything like me she’ll melt! All the best.
