How can I lose weight before school starts?

I’m about 5/6 and weight 157 lbs and feel horibly fat becuse most of my friends are the fun cute thin girls who always get guys although none of them have boyfriends. I am right now a size 11 and hope that I can lose a lot of this weight by september please help.♥

Seriously, just start eating right. Which means no fast food, sugar, sodas. Just eat natural foods such as meat, cheese, veggies, nuts, popcorn even as a snack. Eat less and move more. Join a gym that has lots of exercise classes and just go three times a week for an hour to a class.

It’s about a lifestyle change. If you “diet”, you’ll just go back up to your previous weight once you start eating the way you usually do.

It’s a lifelong battle.Good luck.

ya i agree with these guys, its all about the mentallity behind the thin person. the reason there are overweight people is cuz they dont care as much about their health slipping away. usually the people that want a quick fix because a mood they are in or they only want to be thin for summer or something. lazy.. its all about a healthy lifestyle n not getting thin by september and then just going back.. eat right and exersize every sec of every day. do research on nutrition labels n stear away from trans fats, high fructose n follow the food guide pyramid:)

to loose wait before school starts.just drink more water oftenly.cut off of the junk food for example,mc donalds,burger king,wendys,chinese food and all of the rest of junk food and excercise,do more push ups,sit ups and jogging.

I AGREE I AM A TEENAGER AND WAS WEIGHIN ABOUT 234 LB. AND I ALSO WANTED TO LOOSE WEIGHT BY SCHOOL JUST DRINK a lot OF WATER AND VEGETABLE AND YOU WILL BE GOOD…TRY TO TAKE A LAXITIVE BY EVERYWEEK TO EMPTY ALL THE EXTRA FOOD OUT YOU AND ALSO TRY TO CLEAN YOUR COLON AND you WILL BE GOOD!

Your goal should be to be healthy. Losing weight just for the sake of losing weight is superficial and can even be dangerous. So let’s look at what you could do to be healthier.

  1. Eat about six small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism going fast.
  2. Eat healthy food. Eat all of the fruits and vegetables you want. Turkey and chicken are good too. Meat that comes from pigs and cows is usually pretty bad for you.
  3. Drink healthy. Drink all the water you want. You can also drink fruit juice or vegetable juice like V8. Milk has a lot of good stuff in it, but it’s also got a lot of fat. Soy milk is a great alternative.
  4. Walk. Walking is a great, easy exercise that you can do just about anywhere.

If you have a healthy lifestyle, then you will have a healthy weight.
