Some people just aren’t good at math, sorry. The only thing you can do is practice doing all of those homework problems… and more. Twice. I don’t know what kind of math you have, but it’s usually easier to understand a concept after you’ve done the problems. So go back to the reading after you’ve done the problems, and then do the problems again - this time with those concepts in mind.

Not sure if you could actually learn to love math. I don’t think I ever liked it, but it was part of life.

Math can be a fascinating subject but sometimes I think that math courses do everything they can to make it as dull and boring as possible.

One book I really enjoy is Mathematics for the Million/How to Master the Magic of Numbers by Lancelot Hogben. It puts a lot of mathematical concepts in a historical context and explains historically how and why they came about. While not an easy read it does make mathematics more interesting.
