How can I find out what this number is?
I got a cell phone number a few weeks ago, and I keep getting text messages from: 353-38 at first I ignored them thinking when they get no answer they would eventually stop, but that is not working, obviously this is not a phone number. How can I find out what this number is and possibly put a stop to the text messages.
That is probably a Mobile Date Channel. Send STOP as a reply and the number should stop calling. If that doesn’t work, send the following message to 35338
Hostess how do stop ALL calls to my cell phone?
and you should receive back a message instructing you how to stop them.

These text messages were coming to me from the first day I got the number. whoever is sending them, probably thinks the number belongs to someone else, so it would not be a social site of mine, but thanks deegirl7. If you go to whitepages.com and put in anything but 10 digits you get an error if it was that simple I would just call the number, But thanks for the effort katgores. As for your answer megann13 it is a good answer and makes sense unfortunately, it does not solve my problem, an other help out there would be great.
Go to whitepages.com and type in the number there and it’ll tell you who it’s from
