How do I find out what my ssid number is?

I have a xbox 360 with a wireless adapter and in order to configure it ineed to know my ssid number

Find out the IP address of your default gateway on your computer. Nine times out of ten this is either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. Type this address into the address bar of your internet browser. If this works, you should be asked for a user name and/or password. Check your router manual to see what this is. When you get this far you should be in the configuration page for your router.

An SSID isn’t usually a number but a name. (Although it could be number if you wanted it to be.) It’s the name that you set on your router for Wi-Fi access. The SSID should show up automatically in your list of connections if you have a wireless router. If it doesn’t show up, check your router settings.
