how can I convince my parents to let me have industrial piercings

yeah its basically what the title is. I really want industrial piercings they look reallly cook and I think that they would look really good on me. so how can I convince my parents to let me industrial piercings. oh and on a scale of 1-10 if you have had them how much does it hurt.

just tell em that if you needed you could conseal them by putting your hair over them because it looks like you have longish hair..plus just tell them that it’s something you really want…I haven’t had them done but I hear they can b painfull

Got mine done. With mine one is through the cartilidge and the other it just skin. They did the top then the bottom first and the second one, which is through skin hurt the worst. Top was about a 4, bottom was a 7.

If the problem is that it’s a bar going across the two sides of your ear and that they’re worried it can get snagged, or that they just particularly don’t like industrial piercings, do what I did. Get it pierced in two different goes. Get your cartilage pierced, but not at the top, at the bit of your ear going up from your earlobe to the cartilage, then a while later, get another cartilage piercing directly opposite it. Then go out and buy some industrial bars. In Claires Accessories they’re not expensive, I got 2 of them with multiple screw-on heads for about €4.50. About 10 weeks AT LEAST after you get the second piercing, use the bar as the jewellery. Technically it’s not an industrial, however it looks like one, so your parents can’t really give out to you.
