How can I convince my dad to let me get a kitten?

ok, so my parents are divorced so I live in wo differet houses. I go wit my dad every other weekend and he sees us every wednesday night. I realy would luv to have e alittle kitten. But the prblem is, I have lots of dogs at my moms house, so that would not work. At my dads house I have one cat, a male who is two or three years old. I had begged and begged my dad for a cat until one day his friend sent him an email with a pic of a stray cat they were trying to get somone to adpt. My dad agreed to get the cat, so we have had him ever since. But the cat does not really like me, and his personality is just nor right for me. I luv him abd everything. So now I would luv to have a little girl kitten to take care of, but my dad keeps saying no, just like he said no when I begged him before. I know everytihng I need and everything, but I don’t know how to get him to say yes. I already found the perfect little cat at a shelter not far form here, but I have not told my dad this yet. I need some good ways to convince him…please!! how can I get hime to finally say YES? and I know that it is his house and everything, and he would have to bye the stuff. but I have the money and everything, so please help!

Whether he is out of the house or not, he’s going to have to clean up after a cat and feed the cat, which means cat will bond with him (lemme try the math, you’re with him about 8 days a month?), so you want him to feed and clean and take care of the cat 22 days of every month, which is 264 days of the year… right. no. sorry. I wouldnt get another cat. I probably wouldnt have even gotten the first one. Try thinking outside your sphere of wanting something because you want it and realize that this is really not fair on your dad.

Answer #2

You want to get ANOTHER cat who you would see every other weekend and wednesday night? How are you going to guarantee that this girl kitten is going to like you and have the right personality? You’re not going to be there the majority of the time. The cat is going to bond with your dad. Sorry, but I doubt anything is going to persuade your dad.
