How can emergency contraceptives, like Plan B, make you pregnant?

I’m worried, I know what the information says, but I’m wandering if an emergency contraceptive can increase your chances of getting pregnant. Has anyone ever heard of them increasing the chance of pregnancy?

You have it completely wrong. This what that person was implying: Plan B is an EMERGENCY contraceptive. Meaning you use it in an EMERGENCY. Which usually entails fucking a guy and then realizing you didn’t take your pill or the condom slipped off. Pills and condoms are reliable contraception (99.9% effective)

Plan B is completely different. Plan B blocks receptors that receive information letting your body know an egg has been fertilized. The body will be unaware and the egg will just never develop and be flushed out by your period. It’s not 99.9% effective. It’s 75% effective.

So Plan B PREVENTS you from getting pregnant. Just don’t rely on it, use it when you fuck up.
