How can a guy begin babysitting in a neighboor hood without kids?
I am 15 in june and and a male… And I need to start saving my money for a car… I have some experience>>> I volunteeered at my church to watch the toddlers while their parents went to church… So how can I begin to do this??? My sister asked my mom to ask her friends but they said no so help>>> Please? [= Oh and I live in a new develpoing neighboorhood with no kids…
You can’t. You have to go to a neighborhood with kids.
A suggestion:
Make up a bunch of fliers with your name, a boy age 15 and your phone number on them. State that you are willing to do baby sitting; chores; errands; etc. in order to earn money to save toward a car.
Pass the fliers out in your neighborhood and neighborhoods close to you. There may be single women or elderly people who would be glad to pay you for your services.
The best you can really do is put ads in in supermarkets, church and mall notice boards.
Be careful though as in this day and age, people are very wary of boys babysitting their kids. Its not you personally, its just parents being paranoid. Maybe you could start a babysitting group like a daycare ad charge like $5 a child then if you get 5 children you are making $25 an hour which is pretty darn good.
