Would you hire a 13, almost 14-year-old to babysit your kids?

Just out of curiosity, how many mothers or fathers would hire a 13 almost 14 year old to babysit your kids?

I’m a parent of my son 5 and my daughter 2 and I have a hard enough time letting people over 25 watch my children but it really matters on how you present yourself. If I knew that you are responsible and have experience then sure.

I don’t have kids but at that age I did a lot of babysitting. I think it’s a perfect age to start :)

my dad’s aunty ( I guess she would be my grandma) asks me to babysit her kids all the time. I usually do. Her kids are 8 or 9, andd I think the other’s 6 or 7… and im 13. But its cool with her

im almost 14 also im taking a class tomorrow on CPR lol!!

I got TONS of jobs at that age. You may want to become CPR certified though. It will help a lot.

I am 26 with a 2 1/2 year old and I think I would hire someone 14 or over if I met them and they were nice and responsible. There is a girl in my neighborhood who is 14 and I would let her babysit, but mainly because I have met her family too. Learn CPR for sure.
