Homeschooling? Good?

I’m not sure if Homeschooling would look bad for you to get into college but, you could always try. I think you have a great goal to persue modeling. That’s great!! I know someone that homeschooled her children since she happened to be one of my instructors from college. She homeschooled her children since that’s what she chose for them since that’s part of the Catholic faith. This fall, they’ll be going to Sacred Heart Catholic school. You could always try homeschooling then see what happens once you register for college. Good luck getting into modeling.

Homeschoolers used to have trouble getting into college but based on how well homeschoolers have been doing in college many colleges now actively seek homeschoolers.

One of the advantages of homeschooling is time efficiency. Kids who go to public school waste a lot of time walking to class, sitting through roll, etc. Many homeschool families find they can cover everything normally covered all day at school in just a couple of hours at home.

The problem with homeschooling is that it is a huge responsibility and time commitment for your parents to commit themselves to. If your parents are able to do this it could give you more time to persue your modeling career.

If you are smart then homeschooling might be for you. Honestly. My dad and his GF (no offence to them) are both quite a bit duller than I am mentally. I am my own best teacher and I am always able to challenge myself better than other people trying to do so.

Getting into collage shouldn’t be a problem as far as I know because collages go off EITHER your GPA or your SAT score. I bet within 1-2 years I could easly pass the SAT as I have already taken a sample test and did very well.

Public school = (free daycare + homework) != quality learning.

Homework = busywork.

Home school = always pressing your own limits = learn things MUCH faster and without the need for homework.
