How much would stripping highlights cost?

I have naturally red hair and have been putting blonde highlights in it for the past six years. Right now, I want to go back to my natural red and go with something a little more subtle than the blonde I’ve had. Will the stylist have to strip the blonde before putting something over it? How much would stripping highlights cost?

its a harsh process to your hair and will have to be in pretty good condition, bleach takes a lot of strenth out of your hair as it is most of the time leaving you with britle hair and broken hair.. Im a hairdresser in England, what we would do for you is match your natural colour with a hair dye the same and use that over the bleach, its much kinder to your hair, you will of course have to continue having it done until your bleached bits are grown out.. hope that helps Good luck

depends where you go and how blonde you are usually stripping can be about $250 at a expensive hair place so try a cheaper place where it would probably be about $150 good luck
