mmmk I plan on going to new york when I graduate 2013 :D and im 14 when I turn 15 or 16 im take drivers ed or whatever with cost 250, then ima need to buy a used car with is like 1000 dollars,then ima need gas with is probably like 500 dollars,and then ima need like 1000 dollars to take care of my self when I go there… sooo is there any place in michigan that will hire a 14 year old?? because ima save all the money I get from a jobb please helpp!!!

Good job! you’re saving up early. wish I did that, I made just enough money over the summer for my graduation trip to asia. Grad of 1010.

So lets see… I’m not sure what you can do at 14, but at 15 you can get an actual job. Go into any store and ask for a hiring application, make sure you ask them if they allow (insert your age here). I got my job at 16 but I knew that one of my co-workers was only 15. I ended up working at Clark’s Bostonian.

Tips:

Get a lot of references (people who will talk on your behalf and describe you, someone old who isnt part of your family)

Do well during the interview (answer the questions thoughtfully and make yourself seem like the one to work)
