Help With My Monroe Piercing.

I Just Got My Monroe Done A Few Days Ago And There Is Puss Looking Stuff Coming Out…It’s A Bit Swollen But Not Much and It Is Milldly Painful. If Anyone Could Give Me Some Answers On What To Do, And If That Is Natural, And Aftercare Because My Piercer Didn’t Tell Me How To Care For It, I’d Really Appreciate It. Thank You.

When I got my snake bites done, they also pussed for a few days.. but the more you clean it the quicker it will stop.. I used a bowl of warm water and salt, I got lazy and used table salt but you should use pure salt, and use ear cotton tips, and dab it in the water and clean around the piercing.. also use mouth wash, the best would probably be Oral B mouth wash, to clean the peircing on the inside. Do this twice daily. Or instead of salt and water, you can use alcohol wipes for around the peircing, or isocol.. with isocol it like 100% alcohol and good for killing germs, drip some isocol on to the ear cotton tips and clean around the peircing.. now when you use isocol or alcohol wipes, it may sting for a bit, but if you continue use you will get use to it after a few cleanings. okay hope I helped lol :)

If it’s only a few days old then it will naturally start pussing. Every new piercing does. It will go soon. You should of really asked about aftercare.. Not cleaning a new piercing causes infection. Salt water made of pure salt and warm water is great for cleaning peircings. Go ask a peircer about aftercare. I’m not too sure about what solution to use on facial peircings.

DONT EVER EVER EVER USE ALCOHOL/PEROXIDE/BETADINE ON PIERCINGS!!! it will just f*ck it up even more I have my medusa done and it pussed also just use warm sea salt soaks, H2ocean or Simple Care Spray. its the best thing to do for piercings!! if you get “crusties” DO NOT pick at them, just try to soak it in warm water/ get a q-tip wet with warm water and gently wipe them away!

hope this helps you!

I got mine done three days ago and I’m still a little puss-y and red, as well as swollen. My piercer told me to use saline solution on the outside and a mouthwash with alcohol mixed with water for the inside. Don’t use antibacterial stuff or anything like peroxide like lightthiscity said, that’ll kill more than it does anything. Sea salts are supposed to work the best but if you’re looking for easy and cheap, do the saline solution. You can put ice on your piercing to help with the swelling too.
